For those of you who have read and loved the wonderful stories of the hapless vet, James Herriott, imagine - if you will - the spectacular limestone hills and dales of 'Herriott Country'. Somewhere not too far away, amongst the sleepy woods, fast-flowing rivers and tumbling waterfalls, somewhere near the wild flower meadows and the dry-stone walled fields full of thousands upon thousands of grazing sheep and cows, you might well find the partners responsible for SeriesBible who live and work in what we believe to be one of the most beautiful parts of the British Isles.

For those of you who haven't read the books or watched the television series or films, you really should!

The beauty and strength of operating as a private partnership is that we do not have to meet shareholder or wider market expectations. That means we can decide for ourselves exactly how we wish to run our business.

'Ethically' is the word for which we are all searching.

In our case, 'ethically' includes, for example, taking concerns such as personal privacy and data harvesting extremely seriously, We defend the former and want nothing to do with the latter.

'Ethically' also means that everyone involved in running SeriesBible is an equal partner who has the same say as every other partner in how the business is run and who takes out the same share of profit as everyone else. We are a small team which means we can act as a true co-operative and recognise the value of the contribution that each person makes.

As a partnership, we concentrate solely on delivering to you - our customer - the very best service that we can. We do so in an open and transparent manner. We don't play tricks; we don't engage in underhand, corporate business practices; we don't practise deceit; we don't spring nasty surprises on you; we don't harm your business by unexpectedly denying access to your work or restricting what you can do within our software; we don't bully or manipulate you or abuse your trust in us.

Endeavours Partnership was formed to fill a gap that we saw in the market. As writers ourselves, we found that existing tools were of limited help in keeping track of complex plots, story lines and series, let alone remembering all the details of characters, locations and events over the course of multiple books.

It struck us that novelists, researchers, historians and journalists all face very similar problems so, in classic, time-honoured style, we decided to create our own solution to the problems that we faced in the hope that our solution would also be the answer to the problem that you face too.
